The May Street Studios are a permanent, dedicated studio facility, formed as an initiative to accommodate and promote the visual arts practice in a comfortable, affordable and secure environment for artists. The facility houses 31 studios of various sizes where emerging, mid-career and established artists can enjoy working close to the heart and soul of the city.
Diverse practices, ranging from painting, printmaking, photography and design are housed to retain privacy whilst facilitating an environment for an enriching exchange of ideas and understanding between practices. The experienced management team provides an excellent support system for the organisation, function and promotion of these working environments.
